Y es que, cinco a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de anunciarse los primeros procesos fotogr\u00e1ficos, en 1844, <strong>William Fox Talbot<\/strong>, inventor de uno de ellos, el calotipo, comenz\u00f3 a vender lo que se considera el primer libro fotogr\u00e1fico comercializado de la historia, <strong>&#8216;The pencil of nature&#8217; <\/strong>(<strong>Anna Atkins<\/strong>, con su cianot\u00edpica obra\u00a0<strong>Photographs of British Algae: Cyanotype Impressions (1843\u201353),<\/strong> tiene el honor de ser la primera, aunque sin comercializar). Entre las 24 im\u00e1genes, hab\u00eda paisajes, arquitectura, bodegones, objetos, reproducciones de obras de arte\u2026 un abanico que mostraba la capacidad del nuevo medio para captar la realidad. La fotograf\u00eda de la escalera y de la escoba resaltan ya, en esa infancia de la fotograf\u00eda, su extraordinaria riqueza evocadora y de abstracci\u00f3n de la realidad.
